I’m writing this to give you an idea of where I’m coming from. I’ve been highly addicted to bluegrass for about 3 years now. It hit me by storm at the Joe Val Festival back in 2004. I reside in Massachusetts so most of the gigs I will be plugging will probably take place around there. I’m in the eastern part- around Cambridge and Boston. I hope you find this blog informative and most of all fun.

I was moved by your article about winning the banjo. I have been addicted to bluegrass and the banjo for a long time now. I would like to offer you a free banjo lesson if you are interested. I can teach you up to two hours and it would be general introductory stuff.
